Goals for the summer
June 22nd, 2009
Every summer, my kids and I set lofty goals. We vow to learn a new language, clean up the garage, clear up that closet, try new recipes, exercise more…
While we certainly never finish everything on our list, our attempts at our goals helped us accomplish more than if we didn’t set any goals.
This summer, I am thinking of 3 family goals –
1. Play tourist and visit museums and other tourist sites.
2. Go on a short road trip, maybe 3-4 days.
3. A major clean up and rearrange the family room to be more usable.
Another thing I’ve been wanting to do is to convert my precious old VHS tapes and old photos to join the electronic storage formats of today. This has been on my to-do list for several summers! Finally this summer, I am actually going to do it!
I am putting in a teaser here – I’ll let you know tomorrow how you too, can do this easily. I am hosting a giveaway with Scan Digital. Come back tomorrow for details. I know you’ll love it!

We love going to museums and going on road trips. This summer our goal is to do some more hiking.
