Christmas traditions

December 22nd, 2009 / 4 Comments

Before I leave off for the year 2009 to enjoy Christmas vacation with my family, I want to leave you with a quick recommendation that I believe will benefit your family.

Each year I read this book to my children at Christmas time.

The Tale of the Three Trees is a moving story with a message that even young children will understand. The story is short and concise, yet full of meaning even for me. It’s not exactly a Christmas story, though it is about Jesus.  I don’t want to give away the storyline, you’ll have to read it to appreciate it! But I can guarantee you will love this book, and make it a tradition to read it to your family each year. Even if you don’t buy it in time for this Christmas, this book is appropriate to read any time of the year.

Well, it seems trite to say, but Merry Christmas is still the best way to send you my best wishes to you. May the Christ of Christmas fill your homes this season!
