Creating Memories
September 21st, 2007
My daughter and I went to the Los Angeles County Fair yesterday, and we forgot to bring a camera! I wanted to kick myself for not remembering such an important piece of equipment that should be central in our lives!
You’ve got to take your camera with you everywhere.
You can never have too many pictures.
Now that everything is digital, there is no added expense with developing pictures, and no worries about putting pictures in shoe boxes. Pictures are invaluable when looking back to those good times. Nobody ever wishes they had less pictures, only more.
Our task today on Day 21 of our 30 Days to Better Parenting Challenge is to take some family pictures. It is not often that we can get everyone together. So today, make it a point to gather everyone together, get the tripod ready, and snap a bunch of group pictures – silly ones, formal ones, ones that you can use for the Christmas card this year, some to send to grandma. Arrange yourselves in creative poses and have fun with it. If you prefer, you can video as well.
Remember you can always delete them if you don’t like them. But I bet you will come up with some pretty good shots that you will one day look back and laugh.
