Birthday celebration idea

Today, my 19-year-old daughter Audrey is out with her little sister Amy for the day, to celebrate the little one’s 13th birthday.
As a present, Audrey is taking Amy to lunch, shopping at the mall, and then dinner. This present comes with $30 cash for Amy to spend at the mall!
Now that Audrey has a part-time job and able to pay most of her own expenses (other than the big ones, college and insurance,), this is not only the most expensive present she has given to her sister, but this will probably be the most memorable.
When you consider presents for your children, save the money from a big birthday party or an expensive toy, and give them something to remember.
Here are a few examples:
1.Go on a weekend trip or if that’s too much on the budget, a one day excursion together.
2. Go to an amusement park together, just the family.
3. Camp outside overnight, decorate your tent with party decor, and eat the birthday cake inside the tent. You can even invite a few close friends for this over-nighter.
4. Go to a local stable where they give horse rides. Or visit a farm or a dairy, places that gives you a new adventurous experience together.Make sure the place knows it’s a birthday celebration, and they may do something special for the birthday child.
Children do not really need a big deal made out of their birthdays. Memorable times together is the best.

That’s sweet. Birthday present – $30. But time spent as SISTERS – Priceless!
The older sister taking out the younger is wonderful.
I think it is important to craft an idea around the tastes of the child, assuming they like doing social activities. I’m personally really looking forward to taking my son to baseball and football games and hope he enjoys them as much as I.
That is so sweet! I love it. I wonder – and hope – I can instill the same into my boys.
Number 3 is an awesome idea – we might try that out just for fun one night. 🙂
